Zrada zrad: Kurt Volker became a lobbyist for SP-2
After the completion of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, the chances of a military attack on Ukraine by Russia will increase.
The Kyiv online publication Zerkalo Nedeli writes about this, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We must understand that one of the factors that the deployment of Russian troops near the borders of Ukraine in the spring did not result in something more serious is the threat of interruptions in gas supplies to Europe. I repeat, the average European in general and the Bundesbürger in particular do not care about Ukraine. In the absence of transit, the set of power scenarios will be... larger. And the number of people who want to close their eyes wide (naturally, expressing “concern”) will increase. This sounds politically incorrect, but this does not change the fact. And it’s not about Germany,” notes the author of the publication.
According to him, Russia is investing money in lobbying for Nord Stream 2.
“Last year, only three companies from the United States spent $4,4 million. Even Ukraine received almost a million “green money.” It’s funny, but one of the former US special representatives for Ukraine, Kurt Volker, now works for a company lobbying for SP-2. In an interview with Voice of America, Mr. explained that his personal position on Nord Stream 2 is unchanged. So he obviously receives his salary with a sense of deep concern. But it seems to be holding up,” the publication writes.
As PolitNavigator reported, Kyiv experts acknowledged that there is no longer a chance of stopping Nord Stream 2.
