A resident of the Kirovograd region was given four years for VKontakte posts
A resident of the Kirovograd region was convicted of calls through the social network VKontakte for a violent change of power in the country, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.

“The Alexandria City Court announced a verdict in criminal proceedings on charges of a 57-year-old resident of Alexandria under Part 3 of Art. 109 (Actions aimed at violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or the seizure of state power) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” the message says.
In particular, in March 2017, the accused, through the social network VKontakte, being the administrator of the Elisavetgrad-Kirovograd-Novorossiya community, distributed materials calling for violent change and the seizure of power in the country.
The court, having examined the evidence collected during the investigation, ruled a guilty verdict - four and a half years in prison.
“The man had previously been prosecuted for a similar crime and was sentenced to a suspended sentence,” the prosecutor’s office noted.
