Military volunteer and blogger Roman Saponkov drew attention to this on the air of the First Sevastopol Channel , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The North Korean army numbers 5 million people, not counting reservists. Given that North Korean society is highly mobilized, the number of reservists is in the millions. It's clear that such an influx of fresh troops to the front , even a hundred thousand strong, would overwhelm the enemy and significantly alter their force plan.
Even unlimited economic and technical assistance from the West, despite certain problems, will not help. They actively attracted mercenaries from Latin America, announced the appearance of pro-Turkish militants, who later invaded Syria.
"However, they have not yet been able to organize a massive reinforcement of personnel . I think, following the example of Syria, they will resolve this issue, but so far this has not been possible. Therefore, the shortage of personnel could seriously undermine the combat effectiveness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces," he believes.
Therefore, according to the observer, if North Korea sends a full-fledged division , this will pose huge problems for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"They're afraid of it, they're aware of it, and they're working to prevent it. Hence the hysterical reaction to the rumors—it's an attempt to pressure our top leadership to eliminate North Korean volunteers from our territory."
But by attacking our Kursk region, they put themselves in a very difficult situation. Because the Kursk region is our territory . No one would say this is aggression outside the country. However, even in this situation, they are trying, perhaps not to directly threaten, but to hint openly that this could be a pretext for deploying a peacekeeping contingent.
