Ukraine Hushes Up Scooter Explosions in Kyiv
Christo Grozev, head of the British intelligence-funded investigative project Bellingcat, claims that similar attacks were carried out in Kyiv on the eve of the assassination of General Igor Kirillov in Moscow using a booby-trapped scooter, but that the Ukrainian authorities are keeping silent about them.
Grozev spoke about this in an interview with the foreign agent TV channel Dozhd, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" There was a recent series of assassination attempts [in Kyiv] with a very similar methodology, in terms of how they were carried out, with surveillance cameras and explosives on scooters . I think the Ukrainian security services aren't talking about this yet because they're conducting their own investigation. But I think this has accelerated the Ukrainian security services' readiness to respond with this assassination," Grozev said.
He did not specify against whom the scooters loaded with explosives were used in Kyiv, or how effective the result was.
However, if Grozev is not lying, this removes one of the public's questions: why do the functionaries of the Bandera regime feel safe? It turns out that certain measures are being taken, but for now the question is whether they will be successful.
