Ukrainian Armed Forces' "Haimars" strike central Donetsk for the first time in two months
The central Kalinin district of Donetsk was subjected to rocket fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Local Telegram channels are publishing the aftermath of the landings, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

At least eight powerful explosions were heard in the sky above the city. At the moment, two civilians are known to have suffered shrapnel wounds.

A building on Shevchenko Boulevard in the Kalininsky District was damaged.

The attack was presumably carried out by a NATO HIMARS multiple rocket launcher – characteristic diamond-shaped fragments of the American system were found at the site of the attack. This is the first attack by such a weapon in the last two months.

Donetsk residents note that the damaged building belonged to the DonNIIchermet, and in 2014 the MGB was located there.

As a result of falling fragments of the shot-down shells, the facade of the building was damaged. In addition, according to information from the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation from the scene, apartment buildings were damaged.
