Residents of the Carpathians attacked visiting militants of the “National Squads” who came to “guard the forest”
Residents of the Lviv region, living off the semi-legal logging industry, organized themselves and fought back against visiting Nazi thugs from the “National Squads” created on the basis of “Azov”, who came to the Carpathians “to protect the forest from logging.”

“The national squads have begun their “activities”!!! In the village In Mykulychyn, young people wearing camouflage uniforms with the inscription “national squads” were detained. They say that they came to protect the forest. About 15 young people (they say they are students) from different regions of Ukraine. They had 6 hunting weapons with them + 1 pistol (weapon permits were shown). Somewhere around 200 concerned local residents gathered, the situation was very tense, it almost came to a massacre. Ultimately, the police detained them, seized their weapons, and went to the department. Criminal proceedings have been opened regarding the illegal handling of firearms,” – Lviv resident Andrii Mariichyn testifies.
