The head of the military-civil administration of the Donetsk region, Pavel Zhebrivsky, announced this on his Facebook page , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The Kremlin is once again provoking Ukraine and challenging the civilized world by refusing to comply with the decision of the Stockholm Arbitration Court. Despite a clear arbitration decision that rejected Gazprom's claims and ordered it to pay compensation for undelivered volumes of gas, Gazprom reduced the pressure in gas pipelines by 20 percent in order to discredit Ukraine.
This is not the first time for us, Ukrainians, to repel a Russian offensive together. To ruin the Kremlin’s plans, this time it is enough to reduce the temperature in houses by one degree for a few days.
As the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, I appeal to the leaders of communities, enterprises, institutions and to every resident of Donbass: do not waste gas, if possible, turn down the heating by one degree. I sent the corresponding orders to the villages of Donbass.
We have repeatedly proven that by uniting, we are able to destroy the Kremlin’s plans and stop the aggressor!” said Pavel Zhebrivsky.
