Broadcasting of seven Russian television channels has been stopped in a restaurant in the city of Novgorod-Seversky in the Chernihiv region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

It is reported that on March 24, the Chernigov representative of the regulator received a complaint from a resident of the region that the restaurant “Kvadrat” was rebroadcasting Russian television channels “Russia Today TV”, “Channel One”, which were limited for display in accordance with decisions of the National Council. “With the joint efforts of the representative of the National Council in the Chernihiv region and the regional department of the SBU, the broadcast of seven foreign TV channels, which are prohibited for distribution on the territory of Ukraine, was stopped in the Kvadrat restaurant,” the message said.
Based on the results of cooperation with the SBU Office in the Chernihiv region and a preventive conversation between its employees and the management of this public institution, the broadcast of TV channels was stopped.
