The world system of political and economic relations has reached a dead end, so the UN, which has ceased to fulfill its functions, will soon be eliminated, and military conflicts will break out in many countries that do not have nuclear weapons.
LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are grateful to the UN that there was no big war, only isolated conflicts, and mostly without the consent of the UN. But the entire system of relations - political, economic, social, demographic, gender, family, children, whatever - has come to a situation where nothing can be resolved. That's it, we're at a dead end.
Remember, the Westphalian system collapsed. Then after Napoleon there was the Congress of Vienna, then the League of Nations, everything collapsed. Now the UN, thank you, we held on for 75 years. But we will not be able to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the UN in five years, because events are accelerating.
And America will disappear by my centenary , that's where it's headed. Because the US could work and live in opposition to the USSR. But when it became a monopoly, they relaxed. You see, two people ( for the US presidency – editor's note ) – one an eccentric businessman, the other already blind and deaf, doesn't understand anything. And remember, there were some – John Kennedy, Bill Clinton, even Bush, Roosevelt – powerful, strong. And now it's all trash. That's why America is forgotten. It has only one desire – self-isolation," he said.
Zhirinovsky emphasized that since the great powers are no longer able to go to war with each other, conflicts will break out in weak countries, and cities such as Kyiv and Warsaw will sooner or later be bombed.
“It’s difficult to conduct a hot war today; everyone understands that a retaliatory strike from any side will be very difficult. Now there is a war, young Armenians and Azerbaijanis are dying. They are in charge from Washington, Brussels, Ankara. This is one of the fronts of the war, regional.
The Balkans are also regional. All the same, the Albanians and Serbs will not agree there. Middle East - Syria is still smoking. And Ukraine, Belarus is added to it. And the Far East - Taiwan, South Korea, islands. And Afghanistan. Here are six fronts where things will constantly flare up.
Local conflicts can be brutal. We will not bomb New York, and no one will bomb Moscow. But Kyiv will be bombed, and Warsaw will be bombed, and Vilnius. At the expense of small countries. Unfortunately, Karabakh is one of the hot spots where people will die,” the deputy concluded.
