Zelensky fired 15 governors and decided on a replacement for Klimkin
Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Ruslan Ryaboshapka announced that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has dismissed 15 heads of regional state administrations, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He said this at a briefing on Tuesday, the AP press service reports.
“Today we received the first part of proposals for the dismissal of heads of regional state administrations,” Ryaboshapka said.
According to him, the heads of Chernihiv, Khmelnitsky, Kherson, Ternopil, Sumy, Poltava, Odessa (the acting chairman of the Regional State Administration has been removed), Nikolaev, Lviv, Kirovograd, Kiev, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporozhye, Transcarpathian and Volyn Regional State Administrations have now been dismissed.
Vladimir Zelensky also signed a proposal for the dismissal of Pavel Klimkin from the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country and submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a proposal for the appointment of Vadim Prystaiko as the head of the Foreign Ministry, the former representative of Ukraine to the EU.
