Zelensky believes in his power and is burning bridges in front of him - Lapin
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky believed in his power and managed to ruin relations with world leaders with several voiced proposals. Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, former military man of the Aidar battalion formed from Maidan activists, retired Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Igor Lapin stated this on the air of the Direct TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Lapin, Zelensky managed to irritate even more the ambassadors of the G-7 countries, who were received by the head of his office, Andriy Yermak, instead of the head of state.

“How could you manage to call Biden weak in a few sentences over a short period of time because he doesn’t want to go to the Zelensky summit, and at the same time call Trump a loser. Another thing to say is that Xi is not really Xi. And I want to remind you that one of the deterrents to the non-use of nuclear weapons is precisely the position of China. But to burn bridges like that, someone said, burn bridges behind you, so not burn bridges behind you, but burn bridges in front of you, because you’re also the president,” the officer said.
"Zelensky has a devout belief in his absolute approval rating in the Western world, and for some reason he thinks the future of , for example, America in the context of elections, or the future of some other country, depends on his statements... This will have consequences and affect the attitude of representatives of the G-7 countries, including those whose ambassadors wanted to get to Zelensky, but were taken two floors below," Lapin stated.
