When Maidan activists and Ukrainian nationalists begin to storm the office of the President of Ukraine, no one will come out in support of Vladimir Zelensky.
Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on the Rossiya1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This reminds me of Yanukovych’s scenario for a second term. What Zelensky’s team is doing now, they have chosen the same tactics - we put under arrest the leader of the main opposition force in order to take away votes from him, we promote and support radical nationalists so that there is no alternative left besides Zelensky. One in one, what Yanukovych did, where he was pushed, which ultimately led to his overthrow.
And when, during the Maidan, he found out that, it turns out, his voters were no longer there, his voters were not particularly eager to support him, suddenly it became a revelation for him. Danilov (Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine - ed.), when he explained and justified the closure of the channels and the landing of Medvedchuk or a conditional landing, what he said - look, the people did not come out to support Medvedchuk,” Kornilov said.
At the same time, the expert noted that the current government in Kyiv can hardly boast of special popular support.

Or can he imagine, if tomorrow all these Parasyuks, the Maidan evil spirits, the radical nationalists whom they are now drawing out, go to storm the president’s office, how many people will come out to support this president?
