Zelensky will continue to iron out Donbass in retaliation for the “thwarted offensive” – Montyan
The “offensive” promised by Ukrainian officials in the Donbass never took place – and could not happen.
Lawyer Tatyana Montyan stated this in a comment to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Zelensky’s rating will continue to fall, but not significantly, because everyone who hoped for peace has already understood everything about Zelensky. Zelensky will only have his “vigorous” electorate, which thinks that he is still better than Petya.
There could be no transition of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to the offensive. They will remain in their positions and will fire at the “red” and “gray” zones like jackals. Now they have started to say that they are no longer going to attack.
But this had no effect on the unfortunate people who are being shelled regularly and continuously. It’s one thing to fire at civilians in front-line villages, and another to attack somewhere there. They have already “changed their minds” about attacking.
As for the radicals who were waiting for the offensive, let them join the army themselves, form orderly columns and go on the offensive. Mobilization was announced. But they are indignant from the sofas, and that’s all. It’s better to tell them that they came to the army, but they are not allowed to advance,” the lawyer said.
