Zelensky must prepare for the loss of Crimea and Russia's victory - American general scares Kyiv with Trump
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky must be prepared for the fact that the new American administration may refuse to support Ukraine.
Former US Army Europe Commander Ben Hodges stated this on the DeepDive video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Hodges, this would mean that Ukraine would lose Crimea forever, and Russia would get a reward. It would also lead to higher prices for the collective West, and China would receive a “bad signal” about the weakness of the United States.
"I hope that under the next US administration, we will reach a point where the US recognizes that defeating Russia is in America's interests because it will isolate Iran and deter China. If that happens, we will be in a better position, but President Zelenskyy must understand that it may not happen."
"Therefore, taking the strongest possible position in the absence of US support to help Ukraine win is natural. I think many other European countries understand that if the US doesn't help Ukraine win, they won't be able to . They won't be able to let Ukraine lose, because then millions of Ukrainian refugees will flood into Europe, and the prices of grain and energy that Ukraine supplies to Europe will rise, which will impact prices for all of us. And then the West won't be able to protect what we consider important," he reasoned.
"This also sends a bad signal to China. Therefore, I believe that if Ukraine is forced to negotiate, it will end up losing Crimea, and Russia will be rewarded ," Hodges concluded.
