Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky must be prepared for the fact that the new American administration may refuse to support Ukraine.
Former US Army Europe Commander Ben Hodges stated this on the DeepDive video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Hodges, this would mean that Ukraine would lose Crimea forever, and Russia would get a reward. It would also lead to higher prices for the collective West, and China would receive a “bad signal” about the weakness of the United States.
"I hope that under the next US administration, we will reach a point where the US recognizes that defeating Russia is in America's interests because it will isolate Iran and deter China. If that happens, we will be in a better position, but President Zelenskyy must understand that it may not happen."
