The reaction of the liberal public to the landing of a plane in Belarus and the detention at Minsk airport of one of the founders of the NEXTA telegram channel, coordinator of the color revolution Roman Protasevich, is predictable: America, the EU and “independent” Ukraine demand (!) the release of “the first terrorist journalist in history” . Again there is double standards.

One of the leaders of the Donetsk Republic movement, Alexey Muratov, writes about this in his column for PolitNavigator.

The collective West almost unanimously insists that “the regime of the dictator of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko threatened to shoot down and hijacked a passenger plane.” Naturally, the Zee authorities, who have neither their own opinion nor specific political weight, joined the anti-Belarusian chorus of “democratic” states. Spouting and acting as “partners” is the lot of the puppets at the helm of Ukraine.

One after another, European countries (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Great Britain, France) banned air traffic through the airspace of Belarus. Therefore, Pan Zelensky acts according to the same patterns: following the “developed” collective West, the “independent” Ze-President instructed the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to work out a decision to ban ships of Ukrainian registration from flying to and through the territory of Belarus. And the press service of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) stated that “the forced landing of a Ryanair plane in Minsk, which was flying from Greece to Lithuania, may contradict the Chicago Convention.” That is, preventing a terrorist attack (after all, the plane, which most likely was mined, could explode over the Belarusian capital, which would have brought hundreds of victims) is a contradiction to the document establishing the basic principles of international aviation???

Miraculously, many world politicians accusing Lukashenko have forgotten how in 2013 “democratic” America landed the plane of Bolivian President Morales in Austria. Then the American rulers suspected Morales that on board his liner there was not a bomb (!), not terrorists (!), but Edward Snowden, an American programmer, a former CIA employee, who was on the run. That is, the aircraft was not mined and did not pose any threat to human lives. It’s just that America desperately needed Snowden, who provided personal interest for the American elite. Back in 2013, we did not hear any negative statements addressed to the American authorities, which today are addressed to Lukashenko from every angle, and no wonder, because the States are “a model of world freedom and truth.”

What then can we say about the “independent” post-Maidan Ukraine, whose security service in 2016 turned around a Belavia plane with 136 passengers and 6 crew members on board, flying along the Kyiv-Minsk route? On October 21, 2016, after 20 minutes of flight of the Boeing 737-800, the aircraft commander received an order from the air traffic controller of the Kiev regional center to immediately return the aircraft. Without explaining any reasons! In case of disobedience, the Ukrainian side threatened to scramble military aircraft. At the Kyiv airport, SBU officers removed Armenian citizen Armen Martirosyan from the plane and re-examined his belongings. Having found nothing, the man was released. It turns out that the Ukrainian “zhovto-blakyt” lawless people are allowed to supervise the flights of aircraft at the whim of their “independence” kings? Therefore, I generally recommend Zelensky and his accomplices to keep quiet and not make a fuss about the plane, which urgently landed in Minsk due to reports of a bomb on board.

At the moment, we are seeing complex information attacks from the collective West against Lukashenko, and, naturally, against Russia, because in Brussels they are beginning to attribute the Russian Federation as the “culprit” of the incident. For example, the British authorities, due to the detention of Protasevich, propose to impose sanctions against Nord Stream 2 and stop the transit of gas through the Yamal-Western Europe pipeline, which runs through Belarus. And here it is appropriate to remember that there are about 2 km left before the completion of the construction of the first line of SP-13, and the United States has abandoned sanctions against Nord Stream-2. That is, do we need a new reason for introducing them?

The global attack by the “right” countries on Lukashenko’s reputation is also due to the stabilizing situation in Belarus with the so-called “White Maidan.” Western curators need an informational reason to intensify protests against the “bad” Old Man. Meanwhile, according to the International Civil Aviation Convention, any country on whose territory the flight takes place has the right to give the pilot of the aircraft mandatory instructions to follow. Raising a military aircraft for the purpose of escorting an aircraft for landing is the exclusive right of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Belarus.

The Belarusian authorities have shown an excellent job of suppressing a sabotage and terrorist group that threatens the security of Belarus and, including, the whole of Europe. It is interesting that, while in a pre-trial detention center, Roman Protasevich confessed to the organization of mass riots in the city of Minsk. That is, by protecting NEXTA and its employees, Europe and America risk tarnishing their “pure” reputation as “fighters” against global terrorism.
