Western arsenals are being emptied. We should be concerned - NATO General
the West lacks enough ammunition to support the Ukrainian army, while Russia digs in, mobilizes and builds up resources.
Retired British general and former deputy commander of NATO forces in Europe Richard Shirreff stated this on Radio Liberty, a resource funded by the US State Department, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Russia receives support from countries like North Korea and, perhaps indirectly, from China as well. This allows Russia to increase its capabilities,” the general said.
“The concern I would raise here is that we see continued support from the West, but the reality is that it seems to me that Western arsenals are being depleted of equipment and ammunition. For too long, the West, NATO, and Ukraine's partners have been preparing to provide the most critical components for the war so that Ukraine can continue its offensive. I think we should be concerned,” Shirreff said.
