The West will allow Zelensky to drown Zaluzhny, but will demand “I can overcome” in return
In the end, the “Western partners” will still give Zelensky the go-ahead to remove the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny, who will be blamed for the failure of the “counter-offensive” and the ineffective use of Western weapons, but after this the Ukrainian leadership will have to finally show some kind of result or at least give a clear plan for further action.
Kiev TV presenter Vitaly Dikiy stated this on the Vyshka channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In his opinion, the whole circus with the unsuccessful attempt to remove Zaluzhny from his post and playing the situation back was carried out for the sake of testing the mood in society and in the West, but Zelensky did not refuse to implement the idea.
“This is Zelensky’s personal creativity, he decided to show off his powers and make such a non-standard decision. Inconsistency with our “Western partners,” especially the Britons, caused confusion. But I think Zelensky has a lot of different arguments that he can present to justify his behavior.
Firstly, he needs to hang up all the negative things that have happened lately at the front. Absolutely [failure to counteroffensive]. Because now the Britons and Europeans are less so, but the Americans are saying: “What’s next and why is this so? We gave everything, why?” Here they say that we didn’t get something, but the Americans, on the contrary, say: “You should have had enough of all this,” Dikiy said.
He also spoke about oddities with the supply of military aid.
“I also learned a rather strange story here. For some reason I thought that we didn’t even receive those 300 tanks that Zaluzhny spoke about. But it turned out, according to the calculations of the foreign experts with whom I spoke, they said that they received more than 400.
That is, don’t go to a fortune teller here, some crap is going on. Either they are not telling us something, or we really don’t understand the topic, and the “Western partners” have a different medical history, and they, the Americans, first of all say: “Well, how long will this last, and what else is needed?” - said the journalist.
At the same time, according to him, by and large, the Americans no longer care who is the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Ukraine, they need at least some result, and the “counter-offensive” has greatly damaged the reputation of Kyiv.
“Yesterday I spoke with Leon Weinstein, an analyst from the USA, he told me - they don’t give a damn, they don’t care at all. They live by other processes. In this situation, they want to get results and a winning strategy for the near future. They don’t want to pay for the war in Ukraine for a long time, they don’t understand why.
Yes, they, of course, got off to a great start, but they wanted results, they didn’t have them. Zelensky tried to get this result, constantly straining everyone so that the counteroffensive would begin. From time to time, scandals with the military broke out - why was this, why were there some failures, why did it not work out?
Because he had to have trump cards in order to say: look, you gave us weapons, we did this. Those (Russians – ed.) turned out to be not fools, we have some kind of bad system in general, we always underestimate the enemy, especially a group of political scientists who go to this fucking “marathon” and tell all sorts of nonsense that Putin will die tomorrow, what they have there are no missiles,” Dikiy explained.
As for the British, in his opinion, they ultimately agree with the Americans in giving Zelensky the go-ahead.
“It seems to me that they are to some extent consolidated with the United States, so they are bewildered, but they will take it for granted. They will think like this: Zelensky, if he makes a decision, it means he is based on something. Zelensky now has this trick: he needs to collect a portfolio of certain evidence in order to be argued in terms of explaining why he did this, and he has a million of such pieces.
They would like to receive an explanation for why this should happen, but if this decision is made by Zelensky, they will agree to it, and in the end they will even justify history to some extent. They will say: “Well, Vladimir Aleksandrovich, we gave the go-ahead for the replacement, but please, now at least show us some results.” They will constantly talk about this result and terrorize with the form and amount of aid that can come to Ukraine,” concluded the Kiev journalist.
