European countries do not have the strength to fight Russia directly, so they can try to drag the Russian Federation into a long-term confrontation of attrition.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the air of the Politeka internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The war may take on a different character - Europe does not have the ability to fight directly with a military contingent. We need to arm, mobilize, prepare,” the expert said.
“To pull in, to hold, not to let Ukraine lose, to hold the front line - somewhere it will stop, it must stop. It is possible to hold on and, having created a military-industrial complex, drag Russia into a long war for decades on the model of the Arab-Israeli wars,” Karasev said.
