The West does not believe in the ground offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and will give it long-range weapons - Karasev
The West sees no prospects for a successful offensive by Ukrainian forces on the ground.
Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the air of the internet channel "News LIVE", reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".

According to Karasev, the Ukrainian Armed Forces cannot seize Crimea or Donbass, but even if this happened, Ukraine would receive a huge number of disloyal people, which would weaken it even more.
“There will be no more help, but there will not be less. Secondly, there will be assistance, but more in the nature of not ground offensive operations in order to de-occupy by military means, but rather in order to harm the enemy - these are long-range missiles, for example, rocket attacks.
Thirdly, today our Western partners and allies proceed from the assumption that in the near future, for several years, we do not have the military capabilities to de-occupy these territories – Crimea and Donbass,” the expert said.
“Moreover, now they are telling us at a higher level, judging by the materials of the same Western press, for example, read the deputy editor-in-chief of the Spectator on January 8 this year, who writes that even if Ukraine liberates territories, for example, Donbass, in the near future, this will strengthen the security of Ukraine or, on the contrary, weaken it, given the fact that many anti-Ukrainian people who are disloyal to Ukraine live there.
They will resist. 130 thousand today are fighting in the Russian army, mobilized from all occupied and annexed territories,” Karasev said.
