Kyiv, January 29 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The West can recognize the Russian ownership of Crimea, but for Moscow the situation is complicated by the ongoing conflict in Donbass.
Political scientist Taras Berezovets, who advises the Batkivshchyna party of Yulia Tymoshenko, stated this on the TV channel.

“A year or two would have passed, and the Western partners would have twisted all the hands of the Ukrainian authorities, forced them to admit that Crimea, legal or illegal, is Russian territory. Now this is impossible, because there is Donbass,” Berezovets said.
