The “celebration” of the second year of the North Military District in Kiev, which was attended by representatives of Western countries, did not include a delegation from the United States, because the Americans did not want to be pestered by the Ukrainians with questions about when Congress would agree on military and financial assistance.
Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin stated this on the air of the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This is a problem, I have to say frankly. And I don’t think they didn’t come - simply because they didn’t want to. Of course they wanted to and, of course, Ukraine is important to them. However, if they had arrived, our journalists would have asked them: “Where is the help, why isn’t it?”, “Do you understand what this costs us?”, “Why really can’t you sacrifice something, given what are we sacrificing?"
