Deputy Parubia demands that the LPR and DPR refuse to hold elections in November
The Ukrainian side in the Trilateral Contact Group expects from the authorities of the DPR and DPR, as well as Russia, a public refusal to hold elections in the republics of Zhonbass not controlled by Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated on Facebook by the representative of Ukraine in the humanitarian subgroup of the TCG, First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Irina Gerashchenko.

“Today is a meeting of working groups in Minsk. The day before, Ukrainian deputies met with the OSCE representative in the TCG Martin Sajdik and drew his special attention to the inadmissibility of holding any fake elections that do not comply with Ukrainian legislation on the territory of ORDLO,” Gerashchenko wrote.
According to her, Ukrainian deputies called on Ambassador Sajdik to raise the issue of the inadmissibility of the elections in November of this year, and also stated that Ukraine expects a public reaction from the Russian Federation regarding these elections.
“We expect from Moscow and its representatives a public condemnation of the “elections” and a public refusal to implement this Kremlin scenario. We expect that this particular topic should be the key one at the TCG today,” Gerashchenko demanded.
As reported, elections of heads of republics and deputies of the People's Councils are scheduled for November 11 in the LPR and DPR.
