Kyiv Complains: Trump Has No Leverage on Putin
Donald Trump has no leverage over the Russian political leadership, which has gathered around itself a coalition stronger than the Western one.
This was stated on the Alfa Media channel by the Ukrainian political strategist Sergei Gaidai, who is known for his anti-Russian statements and was formerly Viktor Yushchenko’s staff member, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Everyone who tells me that Russia will fall apart, that there are big problems there, that Putin dreams of sitting down at the negotiating table – I don’t know, in my opinion, They don't see reality.
He already perceives war as one of his best states, purely psychologically. Moreover, he believes that he did not appreciate it before: the action, the buzz, the adrenaline, he is cool. And what is more, if before he still had at least some red lines, for example, you can’t kill Navalny directly, you have to do it… little by little. But now, he has slapped Prigozhin,” Gaidai said.
According to him, Putin now has “no limits.”
"That's why when they tell me that Trump will find some leverage against him, I think about what leverage Trump can find? Sanctions? So they enjoy the sanctions. They got around them, found ways.
International pressure? That's how he got it together a coalition much more effective than the entire pro-Ukrainian coalition, which cannot produce more shells than North Korea, which is starving, apparently. So why ruin Putin's high, who for the first time felt the high in his existence, his international significance? He intimidates NATO and says: "Guys, you are nobodies," the expert added.
