The appointment of the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny as the Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK is an actual reference.
Kyiv political scientist Kost Bondarenko stated this on the air of the Vyshka internet channel, a correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".
“If Zaluzhny agrees to go as ambassador, it will be exile. There are now many experts who are focused on Bankova and who begin to write: “What, you just don’t understand that Britain is very important for Ukraine, Britain is actually our main partner, the ambassador to Britain is the ambassador who will be responsible for relations with the global South and so on,” the expert said.
“But in reality, let’s be honest, this is a person who will be completely dependent on the diplomatic vertical, which for us is not even tied to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, but personally to the head of the president’s office.
The second point is that there, in Britain, he will be completely under the supervision of the British intelligence services. Even his security will actually be British,” Bondarenko said.
