Zakharchenko: We will witness the end of Ukraine, the point of no return has already been passed
Today, at a press conference in Donetsk, DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko stated that his prediction of Ukraine's end within 60 days of the Donbas blockade has been proven correct. The Ukrainian economy has passed the point of no return by this time and can no longer be restored, the head of the republic explained.

“Irreversible processes have occurred in Ukraine in 60 days; the economy cannot be restored.
Let me give you a few examples. Of their six thermal stations, five stopped working. Almost every nuclear power plant has some units shut down. Their enterprises are closing en masse and going bankrupt – the Mariupol Iron and Steel Works named after Ilyich. I’m already silent that hot water in Mariupol was turned off until the new heating season - there won’t be any in the city for almost six months.
Medium-sized industrial businesses in Ukraine have practically ceased to exist. Small businesses must pay so much money for electricity that they are not able to afford it. Mass layoffs of workers.
The economic chain and economic ties have been disrupted. Recently they literally announced that 14 thousand employees of the Donetsk Railway will be thrown onto the street without maintaining their benefits, without mandatory payments.
Therefore, I can repeat my words with responsibility: in 60 days, Ukraine lost everything that it could have corrected during this time. The Ukrainian economy practically ceased to exist.
And what they tell us is that “our GDP is growing”, “production is developing” - Ukraine was saved from default by the illegal decision of the IMF to issue the next tranche. The “adrenaline shot” helped her somewhat, but the convulsions cannot continue constantly.
We will witness the end of Ukraine economically. And then it will be political. Therefore, I repeat my words: Ukraine has already passed the point of no return,” Zakharchenko said.
