Russian troops in the Kharkiv region do not break through where they encounter organized resistance , but stop and begin to grind down the enemy.
This was stated on the PolitWera channel by Vladimir Trukhan , a retired colonel of the central apparatus of the Russian Ministry of Defense, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The slaughterhouse's purpose is to slaughter pigs, not to seize a pig farm. That's how it works. The enemy is forced to respond, and the settlements and terrain abandoned by the enemy that aren't prepared for defense are taken over. If the enemy puts up organized resistance, no one breaks through; they stop, and the enemy is destroyed . The pigs are being slaughtered. Whether the pig farm is being seized is something I don't know ."
So far, Gerasimov and his men have been consistent. They're engaging in a kind of drawout— grinding the enemy down, and where the enemy is "flowing," they're advancing.
