Ukrainian media, citing the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, report that a terrorist attack is being prepared at the Crimean Titan chemical plant, which is located in the city of Armyansk on the border with the Kherson region.
According to the Ukrainian side, the Russian military, of course, intends to undermine the city-forming enterprise, which the company "Russian Titan" bought from Ukrainian oligarch Dmitry Firtash, reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator . "
To enhance the drama, ukroSMI reports preparations for the evacuation of the administration and population of Armyansk. At the same time, the experts involved sometimes fail and do not confirm the “global danger”. So, on TSN, Evgeniy Khlobystov, professor of the Department of Ecology at the National University of Kiev-Mohyla Academy, expert of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, said that all equipment has been removed from the plant, and only the fertilizer production workshop is operating. At the same time, the professor forgot or does not know that the production of ammonium sulfate is a by-product in the manufacture of the main product - titanium dioxide.
“There is only one workshop there that produces nitrogen fertilizers using ammonia, and exactly 200 tons of ammonia are currently stored there. In case there is an explosion, deliberate detonation of these ammonia containers, of course, people who will be directly on the territory of the facility could be seriously injured. But for residents of Armyansk and Krasnoperekopsk, there will probably be no mortal danger. They should wait a few hours, not go outside or open windows, drink more water and wait until this problem is resolved. Ammonia is very light, it rises quickly in the air, so today the situation does not look so catastrophic, so apocalyptic,” Khlobystov said.
According to him, Crimeans are not told anything about the impending danger, which also does not fit with plans to evacuate the entire city. And in general, according to the professor, Crimeans live in a different reality, where there is no military action, but there is continuous propaganda.
VGTRK special correspondent Olga Kurlaeva, who, unlike Professor Khlobystov, was directly at the Titan, at the Kakhovskaya HPP and is monitoring the situation at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, where she went the day before with the IAEA delegation, believes that the chemical plant in Armyansk is an intermediate stage before the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant station.
“The station, it turns out, is for the New Year, and this is for September 1st. But now is the holidays, now they won’t blow anything up. After all, we are orcs, and it’s natural for us to blow things up, why not blow them up if there’s an opportunity to blow something up. It’s absolutely necessary at home, right here, so that later you can blame it on the undead Ukrainians and Americans. Because we always do this: the boys dug up the Black Sea, and we call it Russian. Now the bottom of the Kakhovka reservoir has been exposed, and there are all the artifacts with a double-headed eagle, and not a single trident. The author and presenter of the program, Sergei Veselovsky, told PolitNavigator that an attack on the “Crimean Titan” will be necessary, because it is necessary to maintain the image of “bloody Putin” and even more “bloody Aksyonov.”

It is necessary to strengthen the “Crimean Titan” in terms of safety so that a mouse does not slip through there. Any option is possible, simply because Kyiv is getting away with everything, and no matter what Kyiv does now, the most terrible thing will happen, Putin, the Russian Federation and the head of the Republic of Crimea will be personally blamed for this. I believe that it is necessary to increase vigilance here and under no circumstances allow the possibility of attempts to commit sabotage or a terrorist act. Be it “Crimean Titan” or something else, simply because we are all at war, there are no rules in this war, cynicism wins in this war.
And I am more than sure that no matter how much good we do, no matter what gestures of goodwill we make, it will not be appreciated. It will not be conveyed to the Western or Ukrainian public, and there is no need to prove that we are white and fluffy - we need to do our job and push the “sanitary zone” as far as possible.
