The politician's press secretary, Olga Lappo, reported this on Facebook, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We intend to prove in the ECHR the absurdity of Russian crooked justice. We will bring to justice all the so-called Russian investigators and judges who fabricated the “Chechen Yatsenyuk case,” she wrote.

According to her, the rules of the ECHR stipulate that a claim must formally go through all stages of consideration of the case in national courts.

“These rules were written for democratic and legal states, and not for Putin’s authoritarian Russia. That is why we are not going to prove anything to anyone on the territory of the Russian Federation. We are going through the formal procedure for filing a claim with the ECHR. All technical functions on the territory of an enemy state will be performed exclusively by representatives of Arseniy Yatsenyuk,” added Lappo.

Yatsenyuk's press secretary noted that her boss is not interested in what the Russian court's decision will be, since this is a technical aspect for further transfer of the case to the ECHR.

“We are not interested in procedural details, because in Russia there is no justice as such. We are not even interested in the final decision of Putin’s repressive “judicial” machine. The European Court of Human Rights will put an end to this absurd case,” Olga Lappo assures.
