Exhibition in Kyiv convinces visitors that Buddha was Ukrainian
The ancestors of Buddha Gautama migrated to India from the territory of modern Ukraine, therefore, Buddha was Ukrainian.

Alexander Rybin, founder of the "Treasures of Tibet" exhibition, stated this in an interview with Hromadske Radio, answering a journalist's question about the nationality of the founder of Buddhism.
"Ukrainian. A couple of months ago I was in the place where Buddha achieved enlightenment. Two Burmese monks were sitting in an Internet cafe. When they saw my passport, they wondered where I was from. I said that I was from Ukraine. They jumped up and started clapping their hands. I understood that they were saying that the Buddha's family came from Ukraine, they were happy to meet a Ukrainian. There is one of the most popular theories that the Buddha’s ancestors migrated from the territory of modern Ukraine,” he said.
Alexander Rybin also reported that the “Treasure of Tibet” exhibition, which was already held in Kyiv in the past, was disrupted this year. “We invited everyone to the Ukrainian House, where the exhibition “Treasures of Tibet” was to take place. This is a huge unique exhibition that contains 470 original exhibits. Unfortunately, the Ukrainian House put us out on the street on the last day,” he said.
