SBU adviser Markiyan Lubkivsky said that Kotsaba is suspected of two criminal offenses - high treason, as well as obstruction of the legitimate activities of the Armed Forces.
At the same time, Lubkivsky clarified that during the search, certain materials were found that could play in favor of the prosecution.
“Ukraine is safe!” – the official reported.
Famous Kiev lawyer Tatyana Montyan volunteered to defend Kotsaba.
"It's clear that the accusation wasn't just fabricated, but rather made up by a member of Nalyvai ( Valentin Nalyvaichenko, head of the SBU, ed. )," Montyan commented.
According to her, in the next 5 days Kotsaba will challenge her arrest. Montyan also announced an action in support of the journalist.
