Washington is delaying the recognition of what is happening in Ukraine as “genocide on the part of Russia,” betraying the independenceists in the same way as it was in 1933-32, when, during the famine in the Ukrainian SSR and other Soviet republics, the Americans established diplomatic relations with Moscow.
