At the same time, the largest private energy company in Ukraine, DTEK, said that they could not even give an approximate time frame for restoring power supply in the Kiev region.
“We understand how difficult it is for you without power supply, but this is a necessary step to balance the energy system and avoid equipment accidents. The situation remains difficult, but power engineers are doing everything possible to quickly stabilize the situation and return uninterrupted power supply to all homes,” DTEK said.
In addition, in the morning, Kyiv public pages reported strong power surges, which caused disruptions in the operation of the capital’s metro.
