In order to obtain construction materials that are necessary to strengthen and equip the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Ukrainian soldiers in the Donbass are dismantling and burning the houses of local residents.
Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the LPR People's Militia Department, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“After reports published on Ukrainian television channels, filmed at the positions of the 9th battalion of the 59th brigade, brigade commander Shapovalov was ordered to deepen the trenches at the positions of the 17th battalion in the areas of the settlements of Svetlodarsk and Novoluganskoye, and also to cover them with timber, from May 20 to 9.” , - he said.
However, according to Ivan Filiponenko, the Ukrainian units did not have enough construction materials to carry out this work, which is why the military personnel dismantled several outbuildings in one of the local courtyards.
“It is important to note that in order to hide traces of the crimes committed, Ukrainian military personnel set fire to a household abandoned due to hostilities, next to which buildings were dismantled,” the officer added.
