The Armed Forces of Ukraine have acquired a brand new radar station that can detect Stealth vehicles.
KP "Research and Production Complex "Iskra", part of "Ukroboronprom", produced and transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine a modern radar station 79K6. It is noted that the products were manufactured as part of the execution of an order from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The press service of Ukroboronprom reported this.
“The 79K6 radar is a three-dimensional all-round radar station designed to operate in conditions of natural and intentional interference. The radar is built on the basis of a digital phased array. One of the key features of this radar is the high average power of the emitted signal, achieved through the use of a modern multibeam klystron transmitter. This value is more than three times the average power of a modern transistor radar. The high stability of the transmitting system, combined with a high repetition rate of probing pulses, makes it possible to effectively suppress passive interference and detect targets with low radial velocities,” the report says.
It is reported that the 79K6 radar is intended for use in air defense, to provide target data to an anti-aircraft missile system, and also as an information link with military air targets and air defense units to ensure flight safety.
A video has also been published that demonstrates the capabilities of the new Ukrainian radar station MR-18 developed by the Zaporozhye state enterprise Scientific and Production Complex “Iskra”.
