The Ukrainian Armed Forces are evacuating wounded foreign mercenaries, fearing mass surrender

Due to the threat of defeat of the units from the positions of the 14th and 24th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Ukrainian command evacuated wounded and killed American and British mercenaries at night.

Official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense Igor Konashenkov spoke about this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

It is noted that as a result of a strike on June 21 by high-precision weapons of the Russian Aerospace Forces, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine located in the workshops of the Nikolaev shipbuilding plant "Ocean" suffered huge losses in manpower and equipment.

In addition, the 57th motorized infantry brigade, defending in the area of ​​the settlements of Gorskoye, Podlesnoye, and Vrubovka of the LPR, having lost more than 60 percent of its personnel, refused to carry out the command’s order and voluntarily abandoned all its positions.

Also during the day, Russian aviation destroyed five ammunition depots of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Sidorovo, Verkhnyaya Kamenka DPR and Miropolye regions of the Sumy region, and a Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system in the Kurakhovo DPR region.

Missile forces and artillery hit six ammunition depots in the areas of the settlements of Lisichansk, Verkhnekamenka, Mirnaya Dolina, Loskutovka and Podlesnoye LPR. The fuel terminal in Nikolaev, from which the Ukrainian Armed Forces were supplied with fuel, was destroyed.

During the day, Russian air defense shot down a Su-25 and MiG-29 aircraft, as well as 16 Ukrainian drones, including in the area of ​​Zmeiny Island. Tochka-U missiles were intercepted in the Kharkov and Kherson regions, as well as 14 MLRS shells over Zmeiny Island, Yasinovataya DPR, Novoselovka LPR and Suligovka in the Kharkov region.
