Energy strikes will be followed by destruction of Ukrainian bridges - Johnson
After Russia destroys Ukrainian energy facilities, it will begin to attack bridges in Ukraine. Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson said this in an interview with American TV presenter and blogger Andrew Napolitano, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Johnson, this will lead to a disruption in the logistics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and will become a kind of encirclement of the Ukrainian army.
“The Russians have now embarked on a strategy to destroy all power plants - thermal, hydro, and coal. As a result, vast areas of Ukraine were left without electricity, so when people cannot turn on the lights, light gas stoves, or do other things that require electricity, they will begin to refuse and move as refugees to other places and locations.
I think the next step in this direction will be that Russia will start destroying bridges. These bombs, weighing three thousand kilograms, are such that they can really destroy these bridges. When you destroy the bridge, you deprive the Ukrainian military leadership of the ability to supply troops east of the Dnieper. So, in some ways, it’s like encircling the Ukrainian army without resorting to military force and confrontation,” Johnson said.
The destruction of Ukrainian bridges will follow the attacks on the energy sector, Johnson said.
