Everything went to waste! – Ukraine is waiting for the next blow after PACE
In Europe, the architecture of sanctions imposed on Russia over the past five years is beginning to crumble.
Irina Gerashchenko, a member of the Ukrainian delegation to PACE, stated this on the air of the Pryamyi TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the Ukrainian parliamentarian, after Russia returns to PACE, the next “blow” may be the easing of sanctions, which will occur in December this year.
“We are talking about very serious challenges, they concern not just the Council of Europe - all this heavily built architecture of sanctions against the Russian Federation, all this heavily built architecture of anti-Putin protest, which our team managed not only to form during this time, but also to maintain. And the next call will be the easing of sanctions in December,” Gerashchenko said.
