“Everyone will become anti-fascists one day” – Moldovan priest
The Moldovan authorities are happy to legalize the processes of destroying the Church, opening these hellish gates, wanting to reproduce the Ukrainian situation according to the same manuals.
Archpriest Vitaly Shincar, a clergyman of the St. George’s Church in Chisinau, said this in an interview with the Komsomolskaya Pravda in Moldova publication, commenting on the prospect of a church schism in the Moldavian Metropolis.
According to the priest, we will soon see a “great exodus” of the Moldovan clergy to the Romanian Church.
“The reasons are clear, nothing new is happening. We live in a time when outright hatred is legalized, certain forms of Nazism and nationalism, which always have a demand in society, have their consumers. It is the consumers of this reality who make movement in these, so to speak, communicating vessels. Nothing new is happening in history,” noted Father Vitaly.
The priest recalled that the Romanian Church is funded by the state, where priests who come under the jurisdiction of the “Bessarabian Metropolis” are paid 1000 euros per month.
“But this is not the most important thing, although it is an important factor. The main reason is an anecdote about a minibus in Odessa. When they beat Rabinovich and the judge asks Rabinovich how it all happened. “Well, that’s how it was. A military man entered the minibus, looked at his watch once, twice... And then he punched me in the face for something! – says Rabinovich. “And then the whole minibus joined in!”
The judge asks the military man: “Why are you doing this to Rabinovich?” He says: “He stepped on my foot. I thought I'd hold out for a minute. I looked at my watch and noted the time. Then I looked a second time - a minute had passed. Well, I punched him in the face.” The judge turns to the minibus passengers: “Why did you join?” “We see that the military man looked at his watch once, twice... Well, we thought, everything has begun!”
All this is simply explained. Our government is happy to legalize these processes, open these hellish gates, they want the situation in Ukraine. Some manuals, some curators, some ideas in which they sincerely believe. And we will definitely get the same result, without question!” said Shinkar.
The archpriest noted that personally, as a priest of St. George’s Church, which is secretly considered a “Russian community church,” no one suggested moving to the “Bessarabian Metropolis,” since they know his position very well, as well as the position of the entire clergy and parishioners of the church.
“But there’s no need to offer it here! There is an eternal story about rats that listen to the Pied Piper's pipe. These actions are not so dishonest. Many of these clergy act according to their conscience. Up to a certain point in time, you are embarrassed to admit something to yourself, then you admit it, and then... when it becomes widespread around you, heroism arises.
I understand that the Germans did not become Nazis overnight. But they all became anti-fascists on the same day – May 9. I think we will be in a similar situation. In many ways, everything still depends on circumstances - how the world will unfold around us. Then some things will fully manifest themselves,” says the priest.
Father Vitaly considers the very real possibility of anti-church persecution, as in Ukraine.
“That’s the whole point of this whole scenario. Another question is that we have a slightly different quality of population and slightly different circumstances. Those who desire such a scenario will squeeze the maximum possible dividends out of this situation. Ideally, of course, they would like this, for them this is the best that can be desired.
And it’s even better to add to this the Transnistrian mess... As a matter of fact. we have the perfect elements to quarrel with everyone inside and out. It’s like in “Cinderella”: The kingdom is not enough, we will quarrel with our neighbors and be great! In the fight for peace, we will not leave any stone unturned!”, sums up the Moldovan clergyman.
