“Everyone will get a sentence” - Vereshchuk scares residents of the liberated territories of Novorossiya with prison
Kyiv strongly recommends that everyone in the territories liberated from the Armed Forces of Ukraine evacuate to the controlled part so as not to “extend their sentence by their own existence” in Ukraine.
The Minister for the Affairs of “Occupied Territories” Irina Vereshchuk stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If this is a voluntary economic activity involving interaction with an aggressor country, then they will face imprisonment for up to five years with confiscation. That is, this is a very serious sanction and a very serious punishment. I urge everyone to think about whether this should be done or not.
Once again, I ask you to evacuate so as not to allow the occupier to use our people, and then so that people do not answer to the court and to the state,” Vereshchuk intimidated the population.
Moreover, according to her, people who once swore an oath to Ukraine face up to 15 years just for receiving a Russian passport.
“If you are a person who swore an oath to a local government body, put his hand on our “civil Bible” - the Constitution of Ukraine, took the oath of a civil servant, took the oath of the national police, the national guard, other bodies, that is, authorized to perform the functions of the state, you have no the right to receive a passport from the state of the aggressor country. From any angle, from any angle.
If a person swore an oath to Ukraine, he has no right, and if this happens, we propose imprisonment, but this is a heavy sanction, from 10 to 15 years with confiscation of property.
We must stop this parade that Russia is organizing, arranging such forced passportization precisely for people who must take responsibility for their actions and for actions on the territory, because we represent the state. Here is Ukraine, and the state will defend itself in this case,” the Nazi scared the residents of Novorossiya.
As a reminder, the mandatory evacuation announced by Kiev from the government-controlled part of the former Donetsk region began on August 2 .
