"Everything will change if the front starts to collapse" - Warsaw on the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine
Polish soldiers in Ukraine – this is impossible, but only as long as the Ukrainian Armed Forces hold the front.
Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski stated this in a conversation with Russian pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov (Vovan and Lexus), who called him on behalf of former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"We are currently discussing whether to shoot down Russian cruise missiles over your airspace from our airspace without entering your territory. And even this is very, very controversial at this stage. There is no agreement on this, because it would mean entering a war," Sikorsky said.
He nevertheless allowed for the possibility of introducing Western troops into Ukraine if it begins to lose catastrophically.
"Everything will change if the front starts to collapse. But at the moment, there is zero desire to do this. We are all thinking about these scenarios, but we do not want to confirm what Medvedev, Putin and Russian propaganda have been talking about all this time," Sikorsky said.
In the meantime, he advised “Poroshenko” “not to lose Odessa and not to let the Russians close to the river.”
