Russian reconnaissance unmanned vehicles have learned to detect the Haymars MLRS supplied from the United States to Ukraine.
The correspondent reports about this "PolitNavigator", stated military expert, retired Captain 1st Rank Vasily Dandykin, assessing the Russian Ministry of Defense's report on the destruction of two American MLRS near Kramatorsk.
“HIMARS is not an easy goal, but we have found the keys to this car. This MLRS is mobile, constantly moving, changing positions, and it is very difficult to detect it. But we have learned to detect them. It can be assumed that our reconnaissance unmanned vehicles, as well as other reconnaissance, including satellite, play a big role here. This is not the first time the enemy has lost these vehicles. Therefore, we can say that systemic work is being carried out against them,” the analyst told Izvestia.
He noted that civilians often suffer from these systems.
“The MLRS has precise missiles that hit at a distance of up to 80 km. The troops, of course, get it from her. But, unfortunately, the civilian population most often comes under their fire; many people have already died from the missiles of this MLRS,” Dandykin added.
According to the Russian defense department, two launchers of the Haymars multiple launch rocket system and an ammunition depot were destroyed in the Kramatorsk area. In addition, it is alleged that during the day in the Donetsk direction the Ukrainian Armed Forces were missing a Grad MLRS combat vehicle, one Akatsiya and Gvozdika self-propelled guns each, and two D-30 howitzers.
