“The Russian Armed Forces are preparing to give a general battle” - Khairullin about what is happening in the North Military District zone
The entire situation on the line of combat in the Northern Military District zone indicates preparation for a general battle.
War correspondent Marat Khairullin stated this on air at Crimea 24, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“If you look at the overall strategic picture, ours are now setting up counters and occupying important positions for the main battle. That is, everything looks like this. Of course, I didn’t look at the maps of the General Staff, but this is approximately the situation at the front,” he emphasized.
According to the observer, Ukrainian troops are squeezed in two corridors of strategic directions - towards Orekhovo and further to Melitopol, and towards Velyka Novoselka and Staromayorsky with access to Berdyansk.
“Our offensive is taking place in dozens of operational directions. Ours are constantly maneuvering, introducing new directions into the battle, bypassing the Ukrainians. The Zaporozhye Front, where the Ukrainians allegedly attack, is 100 km, and the Northern Front is also 100 km. And ours behave absolutely freely, maneuver, and with small forces, we move forward. And the Ukrainians - they are moving in two directions, inflicting two diversionary attacks on the flanks, moving in a narrow corridor.
The first is Orekhovo, where they are trying to reach Tokmak and further to Melitopol, as they declare, and the second direction is Velikaya Novoselka and Staromayorskoye, and then, as they declare, access to Berdyansk and further to Mariupol. They revealed all the directions in advance. But, pay attention, they can only attack in two directions at the same time, and then they often seem to choke in one direction or the other. They cannot conduct active combat operations in two directions; they have little strength. At the same time, our people strictly keep them in such narrow corridors that they can’t go anywhere either to the right or to the left,” concluded Khairulin.
