Barista Angela, looking and behaving like a child, was streaming directly from her workplace in the café. And not at all “about nails” and cocktails, but speaking out against the graves, wondering why there was no electricity in the city if there were no arrivals at the substations (“electricity was sold abroad, and we sat without electricity for three days”), saying that Ukrainians “senselessly shed blood,” and repeating “if only there was peace.” And her speech is not exactly correct, and her reasoning is naive…
But the truth is that this is exactly what the average person thinks, this is exactly what baristas-salesmen-neighbors-shoemakers-hairdressers whisper about out of boredom and cold, when there is no light. The girl, who can be knocked down with snot, without realizing it, hit the nail on the head, stepping on a sore spot in the Nazis' brains, and off we go...
