“For several days now, cries of indignation have been heard after the publication of electronic declarations of Ukrainian officials,” the author notes. – Pots clink, pots boil, the sky accepts numerous curses. In reality, Maidan supporters simply have nothing to complain about; most of them are just as thieves as those they brought to power. Someone cashes out funds bypassing taxes, someone evades taxes on salaries by opening a state of emergency, grant eaters steal grants, and journalists simply steal cash from editorial safes. In fact, from the very beginning of Independence, theft became a national idea and today’s outrage is nothing more than simply the envy of less successful thieves towards more successful ones. And there is nothing else in these disturbances. It’s just bad when someone else steals and not you.”
