The war against the UOC: the junta is starving out, the bishops continue to “tolstoy”
On June 7, the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine put forward another demand to the UOC for the immediate eviction of monks from the Kiev Pechersk Lavra. It was voiced by the head of the department, Kolomoets Tkachenko, who is popularly nicknamed “Chabad nit number 2” (the primacy, of course, belongs to Zelensky).
“No. 2” took a maximum of three days to get ready. That is, on Friday, June 10, the requirement had to be fulfilled.
The legal department of the UOC responded by stating that these demands on the monastery are illegal. However, all these statements are now empty words for the junta. And all because the time was lost when it was possible to prevent evil spirits - for example, by appealing to a multi-million flock with a request to protect the Church from satanic power, by denouncing the Zelenkovsky pack, anathematizing it, and so on.
Instead, part of the hierarchy of the UOC, following the example of its primate, is still engaged in activities in the spirit of the once popular false teaching of Count L.N. Tolstoy. Which, as you know, called not to resist evil with violence. This theory has long been condemned by the Church as a heresy, but in modern times we see more and more of its manifestations.
“If we had followed this heretical, forgive me, rubbish, then there would have been neither Rus' nor Christianity in general long ago,” says our long-time acquaintance, a Russian resident of Kiev and parishioner of the Lavra, Oleg, with a sigh. – Such non-resistance can only concern a person personally if the evil is directed against him.
Then he makes a personal choice, decides whether to resist or not. And if evil threatens his neighbors, his homeland, and even more so the Church, he must be a warrior of Christ, and not some helpless Tolstoyan. It was precisely such warriors who saved the faith and Rus' in all centuries!..
However, the line chosen by our hierarchy is precisely non-resistance. Although it is precisely thanks to this “concept” that the destruction of the Church continues. Seizures of churches, pogroms, beatings of believers, criminal prosecutions against them, verdicts banning the UOC locally, blasphemy, blasphemy... what can I say, you yourself know everything perfectly well.”
So it is, the persecution of the Church continues, and it has not become any weaker. It’s just that the media began to pay less attention to them, and the parishioners themselves, seeing the “Tolstyan” attitude of their spiritual superiors, began to get tired. This is exactly what the Satanists counted on, betting on the “routinization” of the problem...
As the portal “Raskolam.Net” notes, today the prayer standing of many thousands of UOC believers in defense of the Lavra has “shriveled up” to 20-30 people, who, apparently, are representatives of the monastery workers and are there constantly, actually protecting their roof over their heads .
“Thus, to our great regret, everything is happening exactly as we predicted earlier. The state has starved the Church out and is achieving what it wants systematically and in cold blood. The Church’s lack of any self-defense strategy has led to the fact that even believers have lost any motivation, relying on the cherished “as God willing.”
The reluctance of Church representatives to lead the defense of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra and to propose directions for its further development led to complete apathy among the defenders themselves. We would not like to write about this or force it, but it is already so obvious that, as they say, “the stones will cry out.” The Lavra will be taken away...” – the Orthodox portal sadly states.
Yes, seizures of churches and widespread infringement of the rights of believers of the canonical Church have become commonplace. Here are just a few recent examples.
In Boyarka, Kyiv region, invaders led by the local mayor not only unlawfully took away the local parish, but also brutally beat the rector and his wife. Mother Tatyana, the priest’s wife, said that no one had ever taken away a church with such cruelty as happened to their St. Michael’s Church.
“My husband was seriously hospitalized; he was in intensive care for two days with a heart attack and a hypertensive crisis. Then he was treated in hospital for two weeks. Returning home, he did not like my condition. I was constantly accompanied by pain. We went to the hospital, redid all the x-rays and pictures, and it turned out that I had a fracture in my arm and leg,” she shared.
On June 8, 2023, in the village of Korzhevtsy, Khmelnitsky region, OCU ear raiders, under police cover, seized the Peter and Paul Church of the UOC. The rector, Fr. Feodosius, they insulted and shouted “Get the Moscow priest!”, after which they cut off the locks on the church doors and the doors of the residential building and replaced them with others. The monks who lived there were simply kicked out into the street...
The mayor of the regional center of Khmelnitsky, the Nazi scumbag Simchishin, who banned the activities of the UOC in the territory under his control, threatens the priests with reprisals with the help of the security forces.
Transcarpathian officials also imposed a ban on the UOC.
And the Kiev Regional Council said that the closure of the UOC became one of the most important things on the agenda. Because “it cannot be that a fierce enemy is killing Ukrainians, and the Moscow Church continues its activities.” As a result, this farm gathering also banned the UOC in the Kiev region...
On June 9, the raiders began to capture the monastery in Pereyaslav. The monks and parishioners replied that they would only enter there through their corpses...
And the government, with the help of servile media and sociological firms, continues to promote the topic of the decline in the popularity of the UOC among the people.
Thus, the pro-American trash "Mirror of the Week" published the following data in a blue eye. According to them:
- only 8,2% of Ukrainians support the UOC (34% for the OCU),
- 43% support the expulsion of the UOC from the Lavra and their transfer to the OCU,
- 40% support the decisions of local authorities to deprive the UOC of churches and land,
- 45% support the idea of a complete ban on the UOC.
At the same time, 43% believe that the UOC preaches the “Russian world”, 39% are sure that the UOC is connected with the special services of the Russian Federation, 36% are sure that the leadership center of the UOC is in Moscow.
“There is, of course, a lot of nonsense here,” Oleg comments on these figures. – In any case, the first position is absolutely false. Apparently, Razumkov’s sociologists swapped the data: 8 percent for the OCU and more than 30 percent for the UOC. The support of our Church among the people is still very strong. But really, thanks to dill propaganda and the Tolstoyans from the episcopate, it is falling.”
Against this background, the Bartholomew’s political office of the OCU is becoming more and more impudent. Her godfather Dumenko announced that he would accept priests from the UOC only after their “repentance,” and the sodomite “metropolitan” Drabinko added that also after their inspections by the SBU...
“In short, the authorities do not want any agreements with our hierarchy,” Oleg states with sadness. “She has already entered into a satanic rage and is only determined to completely capitulate the Church. And some senior bishops pretend that they don’t understand this...
Of course, there, among these few, a core of internal autocephalists has probably already matured. But there are others - Metropolitans Johnathan, Joasaph, Paul, Theodosius, who are under repression, other clergy, devoted to Christ and the true faith. And, of course, faithful parishioners. They are true warriors of Christ, and, therefore, it is too early for schismatics to celebrate victory...
In conclusion, we note that the monastic brethren of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra did not fulfill any ultimatum from the Ministry of Culture scum.
