War against the Church: Zelensky intimidates parishioners in Kyiv with armed men
On Palm Sunday, early in the morning, armed patrols appeared outside most of the Kyiv churches. At least one “policeman” in a reflective jacket and one defense officer, in camouflage and with a machine gun. They showed up to maintain order during services in honor of the great Twelfth Feast. True, many Orthodox people highly doubted their “noble” intentions.
“Imagine, today I come to a service in our ancient church, and there in the courtyard there are two “cabinets” shifting from foot to foot, as they say, “seven by eight and eight by seven,” our long-time friend, a church-going Russian woman from Kiev, shares her experience. And anyway, why on earth did they show up here with weapons? Protect the temple? And from whom, may I ask? Well, not from raiders, of course, who are protected by the authorities. And they commit their atrocities as they please, with the complete indifference of the police. No, it turns out that it’s us, the parishioners, who are being controlled...
True, we became calmer when this man, with a machine gun in one hand, took the blessed willows in the other. Maybe ours were given to him, I don’t know. Let's hope that this somehow contributed to his soul's understanding. I saw how many prayer books and sincere Christians there are, and I came to my senses at least a little?”
Perhaps this is both gratifying. Although, alas, the vast majority of Ukrainian centurions do not understand what sin they are committing against God by participating in anti-church persecution or simply not fulfilling their official duty to suppress atrocities. Vivid examples are the recent seizure of St. George's Cathedral in Lviv, when it was not even the radicals, but the police themselves who drove out the parishioners, and the destruction of the St. Vladimir's Church there, committed by the vile hands of "law enforcement officers", and other numerous pogroms and mockeries of all that is holy, committed either with the connivance of the security forces, or with their active participation.
The most dramatic events happened on the great holiday, again in Western Ukraine. First of all, in Kamenets-Podolsky. In the morning, reports began to appear in Orthodox public pages that a certain special forces group had left the regional center of Khmelnitsky for Kamenets to seize the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral there. Godless heretics have had their eye on it for a long time, and began an active attack a few days ago, after the forcible appropriation of the same temple in Khmelnitsky itself and the official announcement of the ban on the UOC throughout the region. In connection with this, Metropolitan Theodore of Kamenets-Podolsk and Gorodok contacted the local police. He mentioned that the day before, “unknown persons attempted a raider seizure of the church, which is on the balance of the Kamenets-Podolsk diocesan administration.” And he asked the boss to take measures “to avoid confrontation.”
All this happened against the backdrop of the local mayor, a certain Positko, reporting on his Telegram channel that the Alexander Cathedral had allegedly already "transitioned" to the OCU. Here's what he lied about: " A historic decision. The Nevsky Cathedral is transitioning to the Ukrainian Church ."
However, during the hasty voting for the OCU, organized by the deceitful mayor in the church yard, after another rally against the “Muscovites,” no more than 100 people were present there. Although the cathedral community is more than 4000 thousand. This figure was shamelessly attributed by the bastard mayor to the votes for the police officers, without particularly bothering with even a semblance of credibility. (How it all looks everywhere in reality can be seen, for example, in the photographs published below of the Lviv temple, now renamed by the Nazis to “Yuri Peremozhtsya”).
Under such a screen, dozens of Satanists were marched to Verbnoye to the cathedral. With black and red rags and “get away” exclamations about “Moscow priests” and “FSB agents.” But they were met by many hundreds, if not thousands of parishioners.
The attack failed, the bandits began to look for approaches from the other side. We tried it from the famous fountain in the city. A wedge of several pigs tried to break through the barrier of believers and the police, which in this case, it should be noted, stood between them and the aggressors. Perhaps she received instructions from her superiors not to allow a massacre, which would immediately appear in all the media, and if it turned out that the vote was fake, then the inactive “policemen” would have to answer.
Although, perhaps, admonition in the form of a letter from the Metropolitan had some effect. This time the radicals did not break through. Although they managed to start a fight and rip off the priest’s skoufeya (hat). Then they retreated slightly, besieging the temple and the defenders from different sides, and began to call the entire local shantrap to their aid.
On the evening of April 9, the usual evening service began in the besieged Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, but the situation continues to remain very tense. Here is what Metropolitan Theodore said about this:
“We know that now representatives of the authorities, and now radical forces, have illegally taken up arms against us. Yesterday they held a meeting of the territorial community, which has no meaning for us [only the decisions of the church community are legal]... They grossly violate our rights and legislation. Unfortunately, they don’t want to notice or admit it. And at the same time they declare that we live in a legal power. This is a shame, dear brothers and sisters! A shame!"
As we see, Zelensky’s “domino principle” has failed here too. The Bishop did not emulate the unworthy example of his colleagues from Lvov and Khmelnytsky – Filaret and Anthony – and showed great courage in defending the faith and the Church. At the time of writing this material, reinforcements have arrived for the Satanists, and their crowd has once again gone wild. The cathedral parishioners asked for increased prayers. Radicals use gas. Parishioner Maria was pushed to the ground by the scum. She suffered a hip fracture and was taken to the hospital.
In parallel, similar events are occurring in other regions. For example, in the city of Berezan, Kiev region - where, as we wrote, the son of the mayor gave a mug to a warrior who insulted his father - the local council (already without the mayor and son) made an emergency decision to take away all the land from the parishes of the UOC. They thought the same thing in Shepetovka, where a few days ago the temple was also forcibly taken away. Moreover, they stated that, they say, such decisions are made so that “the Verkhovna Rada could ban the activities of the UOC on the territory of Ukraine.”
In the evening, the Nazis began to become active, besieging the Kiev Pechersk Lavra. They walked along it, shouting their chants. And, characteristically, the police, who claimed that they were “keeping order” and would not allow anyone into its territory who was capable of causing excesses, suddenly allowed the petseush urls to freely enter the monastery. Although two days earlier, even the humanitarian van in which food was brought to the monks was not allowed to pass, and people had to carry the goods to the Lavra manually.
“Do these scum really not understand what terrible punishment God can send to them for all these atrocities? – Nina says with pain. And she answers: - However, it’s me. Of course they don't understand. They, brainless ones, have nothing to understand. Although there are already examples of specific punishments.”
And in some places the examples mentioned are already available. For example, in the village of Lipovets, Kagarlyk district, Kyiv region. There, during a similar seizure, an OCU supporter who attacked a priest died on the spot. The seizure was organized by a former instructor of the organizational department of the Communist Party of Ukraine and the district chief Semtsov, who used his official position. A member of their gang of raiders, someone named Natykach, tore the priest’s robe, strangled him, tore out the cross and threw it to the ground, at his feet... Well, he stumbled upon it. According to eyewitnesses, he immediately felt ill and fell to the ground. All attempts to bring him to his senses yielded nothing; the unfortunate blasphemer died suddenly.
