The war in Donbass will take another 5 billion hryvnia out of the pockets of Ukrainians
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine increased spending on military action in the Donbass in the 2015 budget by another UAH 5,3 billion.

227 deputies voted for the corresponding decision.
As stated in the explanatory note, the draft Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine” On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2015 “was prepared with the aim of increasing spending for defense and security needs.”
The bill provides for an increase in spending on financing activities for the so-called “ATO” in the amount of UAH 5,3 billion within the approved indicators of the state budget of Ukraine for 2015.
The costs are proposed to be distributed as follows:
UAH 5,1 million to finance the urgent needs of the Ministry of Defense in connection with the continuation of mobilization activities;
UAH 158,7 million to finance the needs of other law enforcement agencies to ensure uninterrupted power supply for personnel.
Let us recall that in May the Ministry of Defense appealed to the Cabinet of Ministers with a request to allocate an additional 7,7 billion hryvnia in connection with the increase in the number of army personnel.
