The military collapse of Ukraine is inexorably approaching – economist’s forecast
The looming catastrophe facing the Ukrainian Armed Forces is becoming inevitable. This is the conclusion reached by sociologist and Doctor of Economics Iosif Diskin, as reported by PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The fact that a catastrophe is inevitable is not just indicated by the proverbial iron. In closed chats of military experts, calculations are being made about when the front will collapse in Ukraine due to lack of rotation. They claim that losses are 30% higher than the number of new units. And this does not take into account the quality of the reserves, their possession of equipment, and combat effectiveness in general. Result of calculations: June–July. Just in time for the height of our inevitable, according to these same experts, large-scale offensive,” writes Diskin in Moskovsky Komsomolets.
He notes that the main hopes of the coalition in support of Ukraine were associated with a stop in hostilities in April - they say that China and partly India will somehow convince Moscow.
“But it turned out that the tail was wagging the dog. Just look at the refusal to the Americans’ requests to stop the bombing of Russian refineries. The rise in prices at gas stations in America is another line in Biden’s verdict,” the economist emphasizes.
“Our efforts are not in vain. By liberating the territories of new regions, we brought the enemy to the brink of military catastrophe. The myth of the invincibility of the West has been dispelled. In many regions of the world, the influence of Russia and political forces fighting against weakening hegemony is growing. The evidence is a queue to join BRICS+,” sums up Diskin.
