DPR military shot down a Ukrainian Armed Forces drone that was correcting the shelling of a UOC-MP church
The shelling of the St. Spyridon Church in the DPR-controlled village of Kominternovo was a carefully planned crime by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and was coordinated using an unmanned aerial vehicle.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Militants from the 36th Marine Brigade under the command of the war criminal Gnatov, following the example of their Nazi ideologists during the Great Patriotic War, began to destroy religious sites of the Republic, firing 120-mm mortars at the St. Spyridon Church in the village of Kominternovo.” , he said.
The representative of the defense department noted that the fact of provocation planned by the Ukrainian military on the eve of the great Christian holiday - the Nativity of the Holy Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord John - is of particular concern.
“When shooting, the enemy corrected their actions with the help of a UAV, and this only proves that the fire was directed purposefully at the temple. Thanks to the successful actions of our air defense, the Ukrainian UAV was shot down,” added Daniil Bezsonov.
