The Bishop of the UOC-KP presented awards to the distinguished fighters of the legion. About three hundred people took part in the event, including the commander of the “Legion of Freedom”, commander of the combined assault company “Carpathian Sich” of the 93rd OMB Oleg Kutsin.
Oleg Tyagnibok gave a speech in which he called for waging the war in Donbass to a victorious end and opposing attempts to adopt changes to the Constitution on the special status of Donbass, calling them another “zrada.”
“We clearly know that peace can only come when there is victory over the eternal Moscow enemy, the Bolsheviks. Peace will never come as long as they sit down at the negotiating table with Putin and his henchmen, as long as they negotiate with the enemy.
Is it possible to change the Constitution when there is a war with the enemy, to change it under the dictation of Putin? No. This will be a betrayal of the ideas of the Revolution of Dignity. I want politicians to look - in this Constitution they will be a reference norm to declare an amnesty to all these terrorist bandits who are killing civilians in Donbass and our fighters.
We, Ukrainians, are a strong nation that lives and reproduces on our God-given land, which proudly raises its blue and yellow flag, the day of which we celebrate. I am sure that the day will come when one of those flags, which with God’s grace were consecrated here, will be one of the first to flutter over the ruins of the Kremlin!” - said Tyagnibok.
